General Information

The NH201TVA is used with the HT2001 series S.T.R. handsets, primarily for use in apartment house intercoms, but can be used for small home and office intercoms.
The Alpha Communications /S.T.R. NH201TVA amplifier/power supplies are used with the S.T.R. HT2001 series 3-wire apartment handset stations to provide intercom amplification and power to operate the electric door opener(s) etc. The NH201TVA operates on 16VAC (30VA) low-voltage Class II wiring. For permanent transformer mounting use our Model #SS106 (U.L. Listed) transformer. For plug-in transformer connection use our Model #SS146 (U.L. Listed) transformer. These NH201TVA amplifier/power supplies are designed to easily surface mount right onto the finished wall by means of customer supplied screws or the convenient plastic \’Din Rail\’ bracket supplied with each power supply. Connections are positive screw terminal type. An optional model NH201TT is also available, which is a p.c. board type unit, with built-in speaker and microphone, to be installed right onto the the back of the speaker grille on the standard S.T.R. type lobby panels. The NH201TT also requires the #SS106 (or SS146) 16VAC transformer for power.
